Senior Network Engineer – Key Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise network switching, including VLANs, STP/RSTP, EtherChannel, switch stacking, and port security.

• Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols, including Static Routing, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP, and basic BGP.

• Manage and troubleshoot Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), security policies, NAT/PAT, IPsec/SSL VPNs, and site-to-site and remote-access VPNs.

• Implement firewall security features, including application filtering, URL filtering, SSL inspection, captive portals, and security rule optimization.

• Configure and manage Wireless LAN Controllers (WLCs), Access Points (APs), SSIDs, RF settings, wireless authentication, roaming, and guest Wi-Fi.

• Troubleshoot wireless connectivity, RF interference, coverage, authentication, and performance issues.

• Manage network access control and authentication using ACLs, AAA, 802.1X, RADIUS, LDAP, and Active Directory.

• Perform packet capture, traffic analysis, log monitoring, and root cause analysis to resolve complex network and security incidents.

• Coordinate with customers, OEM TAC, and L3 support teams for advanced troubleshooting and incident resolution.

• Prepare MOPs, implementation and rollback plans, RCA reports, incident reports, and network documentation.

• Ensure network availability, security, performance, and compliance with established standards and best practices.
